A DARK AND DRIPPING MORNING HERE, 67 DEGREES ON THE FRONT PORCH. A LITTLE DOWNPOUR YESTERDAY EVENING DROPPED OVER AN INCH ON US IN JUST A FEW MINUTES. NOW THEY SAY IT'LL RAIN ALL DAY. SO MUCH FOR THE FT GIBSON CAR SHOW :-O

LOOKS LIKE A TWO NAP DAY FO'SHO'

THE GET TRUMP WITCH HUNT IS AT FULL THROTTLE IN OVERDRIVE.
THE NATIONAL SOCIALISTS WILL LITERALLY DO ANYTHING TO KEEP HIM FROM BEING REELECTED.

#4 GRANDSON HAS STARTED AN "INTERNSHIP" PRIOR TO A MASTERS DEGREE. IT'S THE FIRST TIME HE HAS EVER WORKED A 40 HOUR WEEK! I FIND THAT AMAZING.

#5 HAS AN UNDERGRADUATE ACCOUNTING INTERNSHIP WITH TYSON; THEY REMEMBER HIS DAD.

THESE BOYS LEAD SUCH PRIVILEGED LIVES ITS HARD FOR GRANDPA TO IDENTIFY WITH THEM. MY SUMMER EMPLOYMENT WAS PICK AND SHOVEL FROM CAN TO CAN'T.

THE ONLY THING CONSTANT IS CHANGE.

Morning guys...cool, cloudy and damp here. Had a storm move through last night and dropped an inch of rain....We'll take it. It could do this all summer and NOT hurt my feeling at all.

You are 100% correct Gris, They will do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to keep him out, legal or illegal. But of course, they are above the law, so nothing is illegal for them.

Not a lot on tap here for today.

Had a very strange night. Had muscle spasms throughout the night. Very painful. When I finally woke up this morning most of the back pain I had is now gone. Praying it stays gone. The other pain will recede as long as I don't lift anything heavy to agrivate it. Mowed the grass today at the house and nursery. Signed a contract with a new realtor. We'll see where that goes from here. We have known the realtor for many years. She sold a friend's home/nursey in less than a week but our friend dropped the price to sell it. We left wiggle room but not going to short sell the place. It's a wish to sell the property but not a mandate. Meanwhile Sue has been digging up deals and replacing inventory.

Good afternoon, rained here while we were gone, we ended up about an hour from home getting caught in it, was hoping to get home before it all hit but we ended up (squirrel) taking some side stops along the way home that put us a bit behind and off our path some. We had a good trip, but are worn out and ready to be home resting. We did see a lot of stuff we'd like to go back that way and do that we missed this time, but will take the Rover next go around. Tennessee and Kentucky aren't very responsible with their road budget and it's a wonder I still have a front end and all four tires after some of that crap. The plant tour has changed some and the body shop area is huuuuuge now. They do automated wet sanding, not by hand and of course, wouldn't let you see that part. And at the end, you get over by the rain booth and it's like , well, thanks for coming on the tour see ya sort of thing. A bit of an anticlimactic end really.
This is also my first long car ride since surgery. Day after we got there my tummy was a bit store and I have a place or two that bothers me but I expected that. And my first flights of stairs climbed and longest I'd been on my feet at one time as well since surgery. I feel like I did well and didn't get near as tired as I expected I would. I figure that means I'm closer to being 'normal' again. The more moving around I do each day the better I think I'm feeling.
Hope everyone has a good evening, I'm bout to go curl up on the couch with a drink.
