I looked at an '84 with the odomotor showing 68000 for 5K in decent shape. Carfax showed an emissions test two years ago ad 125000. The owner says the odomotor's are tamper proof and the 125000 was a mistake. The peddals look unworn but I'm sceptical.

I'm getting along pretty well, just a bit of bleeding through the nose (as to be expected).....sounds as though I'm doing much better than Case. Case I hope you can get things worked "in" and held in, those things can linger for a long time.

It hit me on my way to work this morning that I haven't seen the following thread titles in a LONG time:

160 degree thermostat

C4 VS Bugatti Veyron

C4 VS Toyota Camrey

C4 VS Ford Pinto

(or any other, "Just how big is my penis...really?" threads)

The Wave...

C5 Owners Suck

C3 Owners Suck

If you are not me, you Suck

So, thanks guys for keeping it real around here!

I got to get to your house so you can hear it, I don't bring the C5 out much these days, I drive the C4 everyday, I only bring the C5 out when I'm going to car shows or on the weekend. I'll work it out.

Bogus it seems that hernias are one of the most misunderstood injuries anyone can ever get. It seems alot of people believe that hernias are removed by being "cut out". Its untrue.

You can get hernias anywhere you have a muscle really. Most common seems to be in the groin area.

Lifting of heavy objects can do it, bending at the knees to lift puts greater strain on this area. First time i had one bad enough to stop me doing anything major actually happened while i was lifting a container with about 40 litres of water and around 15kgs or capachino cups, bending at the knees to lift.

If you have an inguinal hernia that breaks, you have about half an hour left before youll more than likely die from blood poisoning.

Casey is right.

John Greenwood is a Corvette legend, really. He built race cars back in the 70s that did pretty well, really.

Essentially, the Greenwood kits (and the Callaway Aero kit) are the only ones with anything that resembles real aerodynamic considerations. The rest are just bling.

So true!

I am beginning to think the mass email really did get some folks attention!

I am seeing user ID's I haven't seen in a while. And yes, the system speed is just insane.

You really have to thank Matt at Cyberbite. He did all the hard work, I just sent him some $$ (and not that much, to be honest). He moved the domain and all the data. Done. He did complain about how slow the old servers were!!!!

This week has been moving pretty good for me... My frustration is with the LA times... it started raining here early this morning (we are right along the ocean, in a region called The South Bay - we are on the southern end of the Santa Monica Bay, and we get heavy fog/light rain, where the rest of SoCal gets nothing). The moronic delivery guy figured that an unprotected paper would be just fine... I wonder how many he will have to replace today???

Good Morning Gurus!

Is this week going slowly, or is it just me?

I sure am digging the new speed of this site! It's so great to be able to flick between websites and not have to wait for the Guru home page to load up. Thanks to all involved in that major improvement!

At one time last night, I saw NINE members on the site. Very nice! Hopefully it keeps growing!

Have a super day!

Well the fact of the matter is, I had a DVD player with fold out screen in there but I traded it for a 3" exhaust system. So for the last 8 months I have had no radio. Finally locked on this one

I had the operation abit under 2 years ago, had 2 hernias at once and had them both fixed, couldnt even walk for a week let alone drive, wasnt allowed back to work for 4 weeks after the operation. Have to go and see the doctor that did the first operation and see what he says about it. Either way, if he tells me its fine ill be considering taking him to court, im the one that has to put up with this constant pain that is sometimes so bad im not able to stand up straight or walk up steps.

Casey, I do hope you find some relief. I had some minor surgery yesterday. I had my sinuses cleaned out and right now I'm feeling a bit wrung out. Dr. says no work for a couple of days. I hope you come out well.

Why bother with kiddy games?? Why bother trying to f*ck with a forum in order to get revenge and looking like a retard in the process?

You probably got banned for breaking one or more rules in the first place, so take your medicine son.
