Remember that flying is safer than driving. I'd like to see
the same thing with vehicle near misses.

Recently had a similar experience but my problem was injectors, then cap, rotor, wires, then one of the wires on 6 kept frying to the exhaust manifold. It's finally running great now. If you trust your mechanic, thats half the battle. Now, just isolating the problem/solution. Your getting closer.

I did the best repair on the wire I could. It was very good electrical tape from my shop. But, just to disable it till I am confident its repaired, via checking it periodically , would be nice. Why doesnt the fuse do anything?
The kit GM sells is nice, but a 100 bucks, and not my 1993 single air bag year.

I recently picked up a sensor for my 90 (single year) on the pre-owned market. Haven't changed it out yet but it's in the works. Cost me $25 + shipping. It should be O.K. though if it is as minor as you said.

Then there is always a liability issue if you ever sold and someone got killed or maimed. Not to mention it's maybe just a teensee weensee bit illegal.

Really it's from kind hearted liberals going into the jungles and telling the banana eaters that they are poor. They lived that way 3000 years eating monkeys and now someone says they live in destitute poverty. Lets chop down your jungle and make you a village with a water pump and refrigeration to store your food. No more monkey eating. So now they need gas to run the pump, to bring in the food and to run the generator. This creates a shortage that raises the price that the wealthy Americans must pay at the pump. I swear it's the truth.

I love situations like this as it gives me a chance to trot out my favorite Mark Twain quote. Unfortunately, I get to use it almost as often as TouringMike does with his "wings" pic:

"In religion and politics people's beliefs and convictions are in almost every case gotten at second-hand, and without examination, from authorities who have not themselves examined the questions at issue but have taken them at second-hand from other non-examiners, whose opinions about them were not worth a brass farthing."

Anybody who buys a C4 with a blown motor for $2200
has their hands full. I hope he has either skills or money.
Even with the skills it's got to cost some coin. Don't let the boys in the Conga line piss you off. They don't deserve a second thought. Find something else to piss you off.

I was looking at C3s before I looked at C4s. My brother
talked me out of C3s by having me do my homework.
Horsepower, handling etc. Take it for a ride before you
decide. I agree that in todays environment riding a bike
on the steets with the general population today is risky
business. It's always watch out for the other guy and there
are more in car distractions than ever. I'd feel safer on
trike or bike with all the dressings to make it appear
larger so you could be seen. They'll still cut you off.

We went to the Micosoukee Indian Resort to play games of fortune. I won 200 bucks on a nickle slot machine. Then I sacrificed my winnings and more while I waited for my wife. She was playing cards in the poker room. That's why it's a game of fortune. I play the games, they make the fortune.

I know this is like dropping a bomb but here it goes.

The current form of government in this country is antiquated and really should be revamped. The IRS is unnecessary, Congress and the Senate are really not needed to make the decisions as a result of modern technology. The Supreme Court should stay to make sure that any new laws past are Constitutional and certainly laws and ammendments should be reviewed. Certainly keep a sitting President to represent American interests throughout the world. This may sound a little radical but the voice of the people should be the people.
Congressmen and Senators were created at a time when communication was difficult and their voices were needed to protect the interests of their constituates. That is no longer the case. The ship is way to top heavy and somebody has to get off before we all drowned.
And now that I'm up on he podium. ALL party Presidential primaries throughout each state should be on the same day and we could stop this dog and pony show. The delegate vote is a waste and the elections should go with the popular vote. Just think of all the time and money that would be saved.
These are more just passing thoughts and I haven't spent a lot of time thinking about it. They are just ramblings.

I have to go. There are a couple of guys in a van that just parked outside my house.

Andy said he would pick the next date to make it more convenient and would post it on the Home page. If not, I'll just throw out a bone and and let the dogs (gurus) go at it. Last one was a little nuts because I started a second post. Lesson learned. There were a lot of posts flying though. I enjoyed it, but as mentioned, you had to refresh regularly to get back into the fray. We still didn't get close to the numbers of 12/30/07 but may have set a new record with the number of posts on a thread.

Looks like Jimmy Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Tont Stewart and Matt Kenseth are the popular 1st team choices for the club. And one loner (who is running a different line) with Kurt Busch and Carl Edwards. The countdown is on.

Pole; Johnson, then Gordon. Bowyer, Kenseth, Mears in the top 5. Not that this means anything. How you start has little to do with where you finish.
