If you drop the pan without first pulling the oil level sensor, it will be broke.

I agree!! But, before I run the car hard I wait for 160* oil temps which are more important that the coolant temps at the point.

You'll be fine with the Rhino ramps. Just make sure you disconnect the battery before pulling the starter.

It sounds like you need more fuel. Any idea of your WOT A/F ratio when running the 200 shot?

If you are rebuilding the engine, it will probably need to be rebalanced. At this point the DM balance will be out of the equation.

The LT1/4 engines are externally balanced via the flywheel. If you change the flywheel you must match balance the old to the new. There might have been a rare few that didn't need this balance method, but most did. There are even claims of a few of the LT4's needed to also be balanced through the balancer/dampner.

I work for GM in one of their truck plants. The E85 vehicles do use the same ECM, but the programming is different. The E85 vehicles have a fuel tank sensor that tests the density of the fuel and can switch the programming to use E85. The E85 trucks also get a diffenent engine code, not sure of the changes. As far as I know the rest of the fuel system is the same as the regular gas jobs.

The Dana/Viper 4.10 ring gear is physically larger than the stock 3.45's. Some differentials will need to be slightly clearanced to run the larger ring gear, mine didn't. Also, you can reprogram the PCM to correct the speedo.

I just installed my Bosch III's and changed the fuel filter, think the filter took longer to change than the injector install.

Just a quick question. The stock injector clips can't be use with the Bosch III's. So, I installed the injectors in the fuel rail. Then seated the injectors and fuel rail in/on the intake. The injectors snapped into the intake with the second O-ring flush with the intake. Does this sound like they are positioned properly?

Maybe I'm missing something here. Is this the sale price for new or reconditioned injectors? Because the reconditioned ones are quit a bit cheaper on your web page.

Another thing I like to do after installing the balancer/dampner is to mark TDC with a paint pen. Mark the outside where it can easily been seen for future references. You never know when you'll need to do a spring swap or rocker adjustment.

I still think you are going to have a hard time compressing your dual valve springs with that loaner tool. The picture you posted from "shoebox" site showed it working on a single spring with a flat inner dampner.

To really do the springs right, yes they need to be installed at a certain uniform height. Can you get by without doing this? I have a feeling many do.

I use the longer bolt and the hub's thick washer to get the hub started. Then use the shorter bolt and washer to snug it up. Lastly, install a new crank hub bolt and torque to spec.

The process is to install the 1/2 inch longer bolt until it bottoms out. Then, the puller should be able to pull the hub off 1/2 and inch. Disassemble your set up, pull out the 1/2 inch longer crank bolt, install the 3/4 longer crank bolt, reassemble the puller, then pull the hub off another 1/4 of an inch. At this point, the hub will probably fall off. If not, disassemble everything, take your crank bolt out, and dink with it. It should come off from here. If not, one more go round with a slightly longer bolt should do it.

That's the method I use, and the reverse to reinstall.

My car has the power to spin the tires without the LL. It's just easier for me to do a burnout without holding down on the brake and pushing in on the accelerator with the same foot. That is until a let out on the clutch. Also alot easier on the rear brakes and rotors.

My car is an M6, and somewhat difficult to heat the tires up at the track without a line-lock. If I didn't run the car, it would be useless.

When using a line-lock you press in on the brake pedal, engage the line lock, then let off the brake pedal. This will lock the front brakes and leave the rears free to spin. Maybe since the brake pedal is not pressed, the ABS doesn't sense slipping?

On my 94 I installed the line-lock solenoid right next to the master cylinder, with no special wiring to disable the ABS. It has no effect on the ABS system.

What has always amused me about Jesse. For years he preached the 3.07 gears/24 lb injectors/1 5/8 headers combination, and at the same time he was progressively increasing his injector size/lowering gear ratios/running a larger primary headers. Guess he might have had a generic tune for his endorsed combination that he was wanting to sell.

I'll never sell the C4, bought it new ~14 years ago. It's become a part of me.

The C5 has a Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (LPE) Twin Turbo 650 hp package. It is the most docile standard shift car I have ever owned. But, when you hit the accellerator, WATCH OUT!!!

Oh, not much stock internally, it is fully forged and was told turning the boost up and running race fuel would produce ~750 bhp. But for now 650 bhp is taking a little getting use to.

Thanks for all the kind words guys!!!
