I have had a Red Top Optima in the car since the day I bought the car. I think it was wet with rain water. The repair shop that I took it to put some sealer in the areas that water could leak into and get the computer wet.

Thank you for the info.

Brian.

I have a 2001 Z06 (Yellow!!!) I havent had any oil problems. I enjoy driving this car and yes it does run very strong. I also added the DiabloSport Programmer to it and it runs even better now. I just wish the 2001 Z06 came with the Heads Up Display. It wasn't even an option in 01.

I had a 1996 Vette Collector Edition with an LT4. I liked where the computer is in that vette.

Im not sure what the problem is/was with my newer vette. The mechanic shop said they used some sealer to seal up the area that houses the computer. The computer was $205.00 & Labor was $197.55. Not to bad but I wasnt wanting to spend the money on a new computer!!! A new upgrade wouldnt have been bad though!!!

I installed a DiabloSport Programmer (U7198) on my 2001 Z06. I kinda wondering what other users think of the DiabloSport Programmer and any info they can offer.

Brian.

I have a 2001 Z06. On thursday 02.04.2010 while driving, the car just shut off. I had it towed to a shop and it was discovered that my computer shorted out. The mechanic said that my computer was wet. I know the computer is in a bad location (In the passenger side front fenderwell behind the wheel) but has anybody else had trouble with their computer going out?

Thanks
Brian.

I just want to clean up the engine bay. I'm sure it wont give the car any extra horse power.

If you want to see a picture of the car, Go to cardomain.com
and search for QuitHaten. You can see it there.

I put the black 17 x 9.5 on the front and 17 x 11 on the rear. I didnt like factory wheels that were on the car.

I went with the black wheels that the Grand Sport has because of the car having the LT4 in it I had the car repainted silver and added black Grand Sport stripes.

I have a 1996 Collector Edition with the LT4 and the tires I have on the rear are 315/35/17, I want to go to a 335/35/17. Does anybody know if the 335/35/17 will fit or does anything need to modified? Thanks for your help.
