Ye old 85 Corvette is kicking butt. If they had an award for the oldest rattle trap here I'd win it by ten years.

Just got done with my 2nd run session, having fun making up ground in the braking zones with these Wilwoods. Only went off track once, lol.

The Dewitt has kept it running very cool, hit 210F max. I may try the Z51 oil cooler before going all out and using the radiator's internal one which would be too cold IMO. But I need something as I still hit 300F oil temp. And I run some pretty crappy non-synthetic oil because it leaks less.

Had some good laps with a new mustang Gt. He's murdering me on the front straight though. We had a 3-wide situation last go around. Ill put the in car vids together laster and post it up. I'm about a second off the fastest guy, 3rd in my intermediate run group of 15 cars. Fast cars with slow drivers.

Hitting 122 entering the Turn 1 banking before chickening out. I'm working my confidence up in the banked 1 and 2, 106 so far, we'll see how many G's I can hold on the banking before grip goes away. I hope the fronts push first!

These stupid drilled rotors are packed full with brake dust. Genius.

Nope. Although I rode along with an old friend from our SCMR group and his stock PLASTIC power steering pulley failed and he lost a belt and all the nice things it turns. So he's taking the flatbed home.

The 85 took a beating and really impressed me. I was able to carry 116mph through the banking before it started getting interesting. It felt almost like the suspension was bottoming out, possible with 24* of banking I guess.

I improved about 2 second on each run as I got braver. Duked it out with a C5z06 from the group above me on the combined last run. Can't wait to get back. Need a working dash and an oil cooler.

I traded numbers with some of the others running video in my run groups so hopefully I can get some different angles spliced together.

Here's some teaser shots. Could be awhile before I get the video diced up, because I'm lazy. Click to enlarge.

Good to see ya back on the track, Kevin.

I ran 3 laps yesterday in the 92. But instructed in the most disgusting Mustang I've ever been in the rest of the day. Still, any day at the track is a good one.

Cool video. It was almost like riding along. You really stepped on it there 6 min. into the vid, motor had a totally different sound.
