Brake job turned into a bit of a problem. The rear brakes have an electronic parking brake. Despite using the scanner to put it in "service mode" I still ended up with a trouble code when it was done. Great. Gonna look again tomorrow to see if I can manually reset it. Otherwise the whole electronic parking brake module is bad. Can't wait to find that out.

Good morning, getting a slow start today, debilitatingly sleepy for some reason even though I've had my meds and coffee. I have plenty to do today so I need to get around. We'll never forget 9/11 but my watch says it's the 10th?

It is only the 10th, you are correct VB. I made a mistake when I posted.

Got the brake issues sorted out this morning. Car wasn't coming out of service mode. Not sure why. Maybe the low battery but now it's all good.

Eitherway, many folks had no idea that the 10th would be their last night with loved ones, and that the next day would bring what it did.

Here! Got the box truck back with a new fuel pump and control module. Another issue in the DONE file. Sue's gate opener at the nursery wouldn't work from a distance. Found it wa a coaxial cable going to the antenna. DONE. Got a new battery for the diesel generator we use on blackouts. Checked fluids and fired her up for 15 minutes. Done. I like to be prepared BEFORE a hurricane hits. Last bad one was about 8 years ago. Hurricane Irma. Ya just never know which way they're gonna go.

The gubmnet don't want people on opiods no mo. They make it as difficult as possible down here to get what you need. I prefer to let my doctor make my medical decisions not the politicians, though there are lots of people that got caught up in pill mills. 50+ year of NSAIDS for me. They just don't cut it anymore. I just have to jump through the hoops and let my pain doc know how I feel. Won't quit till I feel better .... or nothing at all.
