Damn.

I am a big fan of Kumho's. Great tire. Great price. Click on the Tire Rack banner when it pops up. The site gets a spiff for the click through.

I'll second the Kumho's.

Inexpensive, and a great tire.

I had pretty good luck with the Falkens I had on the 94. I wanted run flats on the 01 so when I started looking I could but the run flat Michilens for less than the Kumhos, so I went with Michilens.

I have an 87. I bought ZR1 knock off rims on ebay and they came with Kumho tires. I'm not a racer, so I can't tell you about how well they do when you push them. But so far so good. I've got about 4000 miles on them, and I'm happy.

The only negative, when it gets cold, they don't grip very well. But when it gets cold, my car stays in the garage.
