RockAuto's 10-Year Anniversary
Guest_
It’s RockAuto.com’s ten-year anniversary. A huge thank you to all the customers and friends we have here in this forum. A lot has changed over the years. RockAuto now carries auto and body parts from well over 100 manufacturers and the inventory of parts at RockAuto.com now fit 97,236,859 vehicle applications! While much has changed not everything has. RockAuto.com is still a family owned business and the family still work on their own cars. There are more people at RockAuto answering customer phone calls and emails, but RockAuto is still headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin.

Forums have been a great way for us to meet and stay in touch with do-it-yourselfers and professional mechanics. It is fun to read postings about repairs using our parts and the immediate feedback we get is useful. Some of the major changes to the RockAuto.com online catalog have come from forum suggestions. For example, the little truck icons that tell shoppers which parts can ship from the same location was a forum idea.

Even if you have never purchased a single lug nut from RockAuto.com, we hope the part photos, repair wiki, part number search, and other resources on RockAuto.com have been of use. We sincerely enjoy helping customers keep their vehicles on the road and we look forward to helping people maintain and repair their cars and trucks for another ten years!

Thanks a bunch RockAuto!!

And as you said in the last paragraph, I DO order my parts from you guys, but the photos and part # search have been a godsend when I'm ordering, and when I'm not.

Hope to use ya'll for another 10 years and beyond!!

Nice to see us DIY'ers are worth bothering with. Your catalog is the best out there, bar none. I realize tha some product manufacturers have lots of errors in their listings, but the photos and multiple part manufacturers listed make up for it.

Recently I noticed the motorcycle mfr's catalogged, but there's not much for parts. Is that going to expand? There are currently only a few decent motorcycle catalog places online, but they all have either ridiculous pricing or horrendously slow shipping. Ron ayers for example has good prices and a great catalog but it takes 5+ days for them to process any order, even overnight shipping. A ground shipment takes 2 weeks to get to socal. Judging by how well you beat the parts stores, itd be an good market for you. There's a higher % of diy motorcycle mechanics out there and very few places to get parts easily, even the dealer networks are useless, they don't share inventory and they don't stock hardly anything.

Thanks RockAuto. I just bought a fuel pump for my F250 powerstroke. I really liked the pictures in the online catalog made it easier to see and ensure it was the part I needed. I'll be doing more buisness for sure. I like how easy it was to find the part I needed.
