Being a Mac fan boy, I watched the entire keynote speech (on my MacBook Pro, of course).

I can't see myself needing one yet, as I have the laptop and an iPhone. But it could absolutely revolutionize how we buy and read print media.

Could save college students a bundle on books if they pass the cost savings of printing and shipping along. Would be great for students to carry a nearly unlimited quantity of textbooks on something 1.5" thick and only weighing a pound. The iBook store is already working with several major publishers, and will add more soon.

If someone developed an app that let you use a stylus to take notes and convert it reliably to text, I may have a use for it.

I had an Apple Newton about fifteen years ago that worked halfway decent at that task. So it shouldn't be a problem to figure out.

They showed some really cool gaming experiences that will change the way we play video games. Overall cool. I'll have one someday, but I can wait.

Apple fan here as well. The key pad on my laptop is hard to type while laying back on my sofa. The IPAD screen would be nice to prop up and type. Can't wait.
