i've always used 315 35 17 on the back of my car but i got a really good deal on some bfg 275 45 17,my question is, will that tire size fit an 11inch rim,is anyone running 275 40 17 on all four corners and if you are how are they???

The stock size for the Vette, from 1988 on, is 275/40/17.

There is no way in hell that size will fit on the 11" wide rear rim. I am also concerned that the higher aspect ratio wouldn't work right on the C4 at all...

To be honest, I have never heard of 275/45/17.

I do have the 275/40/17 on my 92 all the way around. They are just fine.

well i have 4 front tires now,that sucks the summos on the back are almost at the warning bars,i think they will last one more season,anybody want to trade some really good bfg for some 315 35 17

BFG says all their 275-40-17s are fine for 9"-11" wheels.

Go for it.

Wow, doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. I'm just used to seeing 315s on 11 in rims.
