Wow that is what I see also. But it looks like the domain was not renewed and someone is sitting on it with ads.
Would be a shame if they went under it is a great software package. |

It's cheaper to buy it from resellers anyway, like akmcables.com

I did buy the cable from Moates, but wanted to order the datamaster. My fear is that they went out of business, or something. |

They arent out of business. You can email them etc and get something back a few days later. I have been dealing with them for years. Not the quickest. I bought my datamaster through akmcables as I get quicker service through him. But when it comes to operation etc, the forums are your best bet to get through the operations of TTS.

Yes sir and that will take you back to the TTS site thats now different. http://www.ttspowersystems.com/softwa ... -OBD1-400/DM-32-setup.exe You could also try that other software TunerPro. You can find their definitions here http://www.tunerpro.net/downloadBinDefs.htm I do perfer TTS though both seem to work fine. Good Luck. |

I used TTS Datamaster for a while, then tried TunerproRT. I like Tunerpro alot better.
As you get into tuning, let me know if I can help you in any way. I can help you alot if you go with Tunerpro, and I'll do what I can if you use Datamaster. Also, www.thirdgen.org is a great site for tuning. Go to the DIY PROM section. The search function there has been assistance of epic proportions to me. If you are needing a tune for a build starting from scratch, the moates website, under downloads, has hundreds of tunes for different builds. You can download a tune from a build similar to yours for a starting point. |

Thanks everyone. I am going to lean on Mick (mseven) for quite a while until I have the guts to start playing around myself. I am pretty sure I am about to be a pain in everyone's ass by picking their brains often. Thanks in advance

absolutely is not a problem, and I don't forget those who helped me.........likewise, as many people that Pete has helped with trans issues is why so many will always try and return the favor. that is what has made the forums cool places to begin with..IMO |

Things have changed for the better for us older dudes. The internet and forums allow so much more than the options we had 10 years ago (and longer).
Guys like Mick and myself (and many, many others) have a passion for the hobby, and gives us a great venue to share the knowledge wealth. Both tuning and the transmission stuff was once considered voodoo or a black art because gurus would keep the knowledge close. The best part for me is allowing someone the ability to know when someone is screwing them or treating them fair. Not everyone wants to do a trans build, or tune a car. At least now they can understand what to look for, and why it costs what it does. There is alot of less than honest people that specialize in the things Mick and I do for fun. I hope we have given the dishonest ones a bit of heartburn. |
