Lifting an engine, pulling yourself out of ditch, securing an obnoxious neighbor to a tree...? Lots of fun stuff. It's probably worth about $25.00

Yea, you can do a lot with it. Much nicer than my cheapo come-along.
Probably worth $200.

I just looked it up, over 400 bucks online at stores that specialize in this equipment.

Well a friend needs it for his business, and with the recession and all, he offered 40 bucks. I wont need it for years anyways.
