Hi,

I need a description or picture of where the flat springs go to keep the latch closed. I removed the console pad and found the springs lying loose.

Can you help?

Thanks,
Jon

Thank you - now I know I need a new one. Spring is broken into two pieces. Any idea how to obtain?

Cheers,
Jon

I don't quite remember how, but I rigged up a cheap hardware store coil spring on mine. It wasn't too difficult and works fine.

There's only two ways to install it, one works, one doesn't. :P

These corvette guys love leaf springs. Wonder why they didn't use leaf springs for the valves also.
