Hi guys Dan here again i havent got the chance to mess with my fuel gauge yet but i will very soon army life been to busy here in germany. any way here's my question i have a 92 vette i got for 2 grand from another service member he stripped the number 6 spark plug and put a helicoil in it and after words it wouldnt idle and there was a tick and he left it alone. after our deployment he wanted to get rid of it and i got it for 2 grand nice huh. well i pulled the passenger head and found when he did the helicoil he bent the exhaust valve just slightly it wouldnt seat 9 bucks later from summit new valve and it runs like a champ. heres the mods that were already done. TPIS headers, TPIS flowmaster exhaust, TPIS 1.6 rockers the Z06 wheels you see he lowered it some how and a fidanza 12.5 lb Flywheel. since i have had it i've put a MSD 6AL box Blaster coil and new shocks and plugs so far. i have new suspension bushings and ball joints on the way they should be here later on this week. well my question is what kind of clutch should i use with this flywheel there is a stock one in there now and im thinking a stage 2 or 3 im gonna put a hot cam and the electric water pump in it eventually im not trying to break the bank on this either any suggestions would be apreaciated thanks Dan

Going through my clutch adventures I would recommend the Centerforce Dual Friction.

I was going to go Spec, but heard many many many horror stories about them dying really quickly.

Also heard Carolina Clutch is made by Spec so I avoided them.

Nice to know! I am a fan of the RAM Hydraulic throwout bearing setup for the C4. I don't know why, just seems logical to me.

I had a SPEC from Carolina... meh. It just didn't feel that great.

You can also build up a clutch from parts... A mix of F-body and Y-body parts will get you there.

I can't in good faith recommend an aftermarket pressure plate until I see what they're using for a throwout bearing.

The bearing is a weak point on the stock setup, and stronger springs (weights) on the pressure plate will put more load on it. With that said I have never seen a case of an aftermarket one failing, but there's also very few of them compared to the number of stock ones out there.
