I have a 17" monitor but I'm getting tired of having to scroll back and forth to read some of the posts on this forum. For example this post:

http://www.c4guru.com/modules.php?nam ... file=viewtopic&t=1889

has me jumoing back and forth on every line.

Is there any way to set up my profile so I don'tr have to do thsi?

That's caused by a user posting something in the thread that is really wide. In the case of your example, it's the link that someone posted.

One thing that helps, is to click the "Printable Version" in the top right hand corner of the first post. That will force all the text to be displayed on one page width. If there are large pictures, you'll still have to scroll to see all of them. But at least you'll be able to read the text without scrolling.

We should all have the courtesy when posting pictures to avoid large photos, scale it down!

I agree with that. It seems a picture size of 800x600 is the perfect size. It's big enough to see well, yet small enough most people won't have to scroll.

But in the example above, it wasn't a picture that did it. I am sure the OP had no idea it would do that either. That auto trader link is very long, and has the same exact effect as a large picture.

That's best.

The CF had an option to view all pics as links, but that can be anoiying.

That also help with the small font size

When?

In the meantime guys, we can edit the links/pics down to make them more user friendly. I did in the linked thread. Feel free to remind me through PM if you see one that's bugging you.
