Too many politicians don't have the best interest of the country. Their political gain is their path, not USA.

Is it really any wonder why the economy is in the state it's in? Nobody can get any gawddamn shit done. I'm not a tree hugger but I support environmental concerns. I'm sure there are questions to be answered like .... What if the pipeline is hit by a military aircraft transporting nuclear warheads? Will a bear be able to turn off the pipeline or will there be safeguards? What political coffers will need to be filled to assure a yes vote? Then there is the terrorist threat potentail. Will TSA/Border Patrol/local law enforcement need to be beefed up by 60,000 to 100,000 to ward off potential threats. Will gas prices be forced to rise to offset expences? A few hundred thousand more points to ponder.

Reported on the news tonight that Canada will sell its crude to China if no pipeline. Hum.. Tommy you make alot of good points. Maybe we need those urinating Marines to run for Congress to get stuff done! Being politically correct anymore is to keep quite!

Can you say environmentalists (I hope that is how you spell it) Big fight in Nebraska because they wanted to go through the Sandhills with the pipeline....I think its the occupy idiots behind it......there may have been some jobs coming out of this and they would have had to go to work.......

I got an idea....build the refineries where the oil is then you won't have to have a pipeline.....of course you still have to move all that gasoline.......hmmmmmmmm....we need the pipeline...
