At school cars are being picked with a fork. 6 cars have been broken into and they can't catch the jerk. I just bought a viper alarm system.

TWO avenger sirens

Two pain sirens in the car that will litterally kill your ears. One on each side of the car hidden

Back up battery

Steel battery shield

glass sensor for broken glass

Interior force field in case anything moves

Tilt sensor for jacking up/towing

License plate bolts that have a special key

Lock bolts on my rims

Led interior light

Two layers of protection film but they are transparent so they affect no daytime/nighttime vision at all and I am happy wit that. 100% legal!

Both hornes are tied in with the other four alarms.

Led taillights/HID foglights will flash.

It is SO loud, anyone will run like a bat out of hell.

I just need to figure out how they are using a fork to jimmie open the doors and block that.

Im not being paranoid but truthfully, I don't keep valuablesin my car but I will be damned if someone breaks into my car to steal my CD player/stereo. I got insurance on it but I want to know if someones messing with it. I am in the classroom right by my car at school so I can certainly hear it and the same at home.

You can think I took it overboard but I am very pleased.

I also get a slight discount on my insurance after my agent verifies my alarm!!

Win/Win situation....

Anyone like their viper alarm because mine rocks!!!

Sounds like you got that under control Kid....we found out if you leave the vehicle unlocked they don't break anything to get in............but then they roll it a mile down the road and distroy it.....we have a new plan now.....I like Durango Boys plan....hope nobody messes with your ride....

Whatever you do, don't make the so system so touchy that the first truck that rumbles down the road sets it off.

It must only go off on invasion, nothing less.

I like the clear tint, that will really slow them down. Also, get the club. It's not perfect, but again, it slows them down.

The only reason they would break into your car is for something inside, so don't leave any nice targets. Keep stuff covered...

It sucks that we live in a society that doesn't always respect each other. I am so lucky where I live here in SoCal that I don't have to worry about that.

Don't get me wrong, I am way to close to Compton and Wilmington to know I am lucky!

I was checking the on-line LAPD crime maps for my area last year... over a given month, there were only 1 or 2 crimes in my immediate block area. I like that. It means everyone around here is honest, and that bad people have yet to figure out they might want to hit it! I do want to get security with video cameras, tho.

I also have a transmission lock in the mail. It goes over my auto transmission shifter. Case hardened blah blah blah.

The thing is, Im not worried about my car being stolen it's the point of being vandalised/being broken into. It's happening at school and we have full security guards plus 2 resource officers.

They STILL havent caught them and the cars they hit do not have alarms. It's crazy. They are using a fork thats been modified to act as a slim jim yet it has damaged two cars they broke into.

Only thing I don't want messed with is my CD player..I don't keep all that stuff in my car but regardless, I get a insurance discount and it pretty much pays for itself with the alarm system.

The tint is really really good guys. Viper sells it but I got it from my local tint shop. It's security film not colored tint. It cut out "some" heat from my experience but you can tell it will holt it together so I just had two layers slapped on and the second layer was half price.

The guy installing it has installed thousands of vipers and only reccomends them. He is setting the sensitivity to not be so sensitive that it's bothersome but will still do it's job. Some peopl eget theirs set to the max sens and when it drizzles, it keeps setting it off. If mine is bumped, tilted, glass touched/cracked it goes off.

Cheers!
