i know that the compression ratio on the aluminum headed L98 is 9.5 to 1. What is it on the iron headed L98's?

Corvette Specs lists both the 84 and 85 at 9.0:1. The early 86s still had the iron heads...

any idea of what the compression ratio would be if you took one of these 9.0 motors and put the 58 cc heads or 64 cc heads on it?

Thank you, i added it to my favorites. with the 64cc heads, it would jump to 10.2 to 1. and with the 58cc heads it goes to 11.01 to 1. i used a .024 gasket for this calculation, whats the thickes i could get? probably need a cam with alot of over lap to bleed off some of that pressure, huh?
