We have a car show every year at work as a Back to School morale function. We have a lot of old guys here and a bunch of gear heads, so a lot of cool cars! Here's a few teaser pics, but I'll snag more at lunch time. Enjoy...

(Oh, my cars are the Atomic Orange '71 Chevelle Convertible and the Starfire Pearl White '98 Corvette Roadster.)

I wish I coulda made it... damn it.

Nice looking collection! I think I see SDUPERS in the first pic...

I like the big thunderchicken. I always had a soft spot for those 67-68 t-birds.

The 66 charger is sweet, too!

Nice group of vintage Vettes! All in all, a very eclectic collection... I am surprised there weren't more exotics - ie, 80s Ferrari.

The Lotus looks nice. Love the looks of those cars.

Thanks for sharing again!

Yeah, I forgot to shoot my own car. I'll bring it to Suzy's tomorrow.

Eclectic is right. And every gen of Corvette was represented, though I didn't photograph any of the C4-C6s.

You must have missed it. I updated the original thread with the completed car. It came out great!

There are 20 or more cars there I wouldn't throw out of my garage. Nice employees show. You must all be rich.

Yeah, well take away our cost of living and the income looks really nice for a minute.

But all seriousness aside, we're a major aerospace company with a lot of engineers, in sunny southern California. So it makes sense that we have a lot of car nuts. Truth be told, our car show attendance has really dwindled in the past 5-10 years.

Very impressive, thanks for the pics!  In the past, we've had a similar show here at our facility, but on a much smaller scale.

So to which department do the Prius owners belong?  Ours work in the avionics group.  laughing6

I would bet money that Nelson's Chevelle (496 BB) sucks up more gas starting than the Prius does going from El Segundo to Long Beach.

As an aside, I drove a Chevy Volt last March at Sebring. A very nice driving car. I was SERIOUSLY impressed with how effortlessly the electric driveline moved the car from a stop. Quiet, refined, very very nice.
