Both could be power, neither could be.

However, if they are, they should move fore/aft and up down with little more than an electric motor whine....

From a lot of what I have heard and read, you don't need to use any cleaner, and it could end up doing more harm than good. If anything Seafoam will clean up any gunk in the system.

I use Chevron Techron every once in a while. About $7 a bottle.

Why? Lucas is also superb, but Pontiac did a study and found that quality, detergent gasoline will clean dirty injectors within 2-3 tankfuls.

I try to use nothing but Chevron as long as the pump price is competitive. It has Techron in it, so never a need for any additives.

There is this thing called "tier 1" gas now... Shell, Chevron, Exxon (I think) are all involved. It's a standard for clean fuels, and I can say, looking at the valves on my 185k LT1, they mean it. They were clean... same with the piston tops (a little black, but not much).

The risk of additives is that they can damage the injectors.

The only fuel system additive I have used are either Seafoam or BG products 44k.
