Yep! But make sure they have a +56mm offset, or something close to it.

A 275/40 is a good tire size for that wheel. Or you can safely fit a 285 on it, but it's a less common size.

17 x 9.5 is the stock setup on a 92.

They narrowed the fronts in 93 to cut down on the walking side to side over ruts.

Eh, street manners are for metrosexuals. Put the fatties on there, and while you're at it, set the front toe to zero. I believe the 88-96 have less scrub radius so I'm not sure if that would make it behave better or worse than my 85.

It sure is nice having the ability to rotate tires. Different front/rears with direction tread prevents that.

I used to have some nice asymmetric tires, and on the non-directional wheels, you could rotate them anywhere.

Ok, looks like extra scrub radius is bad for road manners. http://www.off-roadweb.com/tech/1106o ... _scrub_kopycinskis_brain/

But on your 93 you have nothing to worry about.

[OT] I wonder if my extra bit of scrub radius is making it harder on the power steering pump, which is already straining at these RPMs. [/OT]

I don't have any problems on the track no noticeable straining, May be a different pump though.

it is... the older C4s use a different PS pump, more like the old school GM pumps... IIRC.
