Your neighbors must be thrillled.

Very nice pre 91 C4. One of the nicest looking white C4s on the site.

They always know somethings up when it gets taken off the jack stands, I spared them the Open Header warm up this year, I must be getting soft.

super nice car!! Why did you change cams? Sounds like the 114 LSA smoothed out your idle a little?

The valve overlap caused too much smell at idle.

The big cam made great power, I believe that IF i would have gone still bigger with a solid roller with more lift, I could have made 445 RWHP and maybe even 475RWTQ

The new cam has less duration but instead of .575 or .590 it is .612" lift

I prefer the choppy sound of the old cam. But not sure how much of that difference is due to the exhaust change or the cam change. How is it driving? A lot quieter? Are those LT1 mufflers on there now vs the old magnaflows?

The new exhaust is a true dual Pypes set up with no cats, the old was Y-pipe with Magnaflow and no cats.

The old cam sat you back in the seat pretty good on acceleration, the new cam is a slower but longer ramp up due to the 114/ls

new cam is smoother for sure. I too like the rumpity rump but the fuel smell at idle was just too much with so much overlap in the 300 degree duration cam

I see you have the fast fxi ECM right? How do you like it? Do you see the self tune really working? How does it run the distributor? Did you run the wiring harness yourself?

FAST works great, the distributor is a dual sync so it gives you sequential injection instead of bank to bank

I bought the FAST harness and it was easy in retrospect, all I had to do was join a few wires from the stock harness to the FAST and it ran great.

The learn feature is great until you get close, then you have to fine tune it yourself
