Trae and I (and our wives) attended the 24 last week, and here are a couple of pics and a link to a bunch more, if you are interested.  I will say, I had an absolute awesome time!  By far the most enjoyable racing event I've ever attended.  I know many of you have attended more, and probably better, events, but this one was special to us.  I also know that everyone is not sold on the merger of the two series, but I felt the racing was incredible.  Anyway, here they are.  No particular order, and including several from the Corvette Corral and parade laps (both Trae's and my car). And even one of the C7 Z06 in Cyber Gray!

Yeah, I saw that vid, Bill.  It's great, and a testament to the amount of technology now in all  these cars.  We got a good close look at the C7Rs, and they are really amazing machines!  And, the DPs are even more impressive.....at least to me.  Short of the Gidley crash, which was very scary, the racnig was a blast to watch!

Memo had surgery on his back only to stabilize it 6 days ago. I hope they can repair the damage.
I raced against Memo in both karts and cars.

I hope Memo makes a full recovery.  We had just left the stands in the horseshoe when it happened, and really I was kinda glad that we weren't there.  The replay looked horrible, and for a few minutes (until they announced that he was awake and alert) everyone feared the worst.  It was really sad to watch the Gainsco crew pack everything up so early, and it was obvious they were very concerned, too.  It could have been worse!
