I read the headlines, but hadn't had the chance to read the story... damn... lucky lucky man. And he should recover 100%! Amazing.

It reminds me of Senna's accident. In his case, the tire hit his helmet... Sadly, Senna wasn't so lucky.

IndyCar has had no idea what they are doing for the last 20 years.

You can't make areo changes on a whim, even in pre-season.

The ONLY thing they've done right is the safety team program which has been at the top for many years.
So is NASCAR's safety team.
Even our (San Fransisco SCCA) chief medical doctor is the former chief med of Formula 1.

Racing is dangerous (that's one of the reasons why I like it).

But sking at Tahoe is dangerous too.
