Slalom4me 3-5 Gal Tank w/ Internal Pump (40-100 psi)

Can anyone recommend a source for a small capacity tank with an
internal pump suitable for EFI (40-60 psi)?

I have looked at Jaz, RCI and ATL units but with the exception of the
ATL Max-Sport, the others all appear to be externally pumped.

I could use get by with a Jaz #250-003-05 tank and an MSD #2225
pump as shown below. But I would prefer the simpler, more sanitary
in-tank combo.

Price is a consideration and this takes units like the ATL Max-Sport out of
the running.

Yes, it is for a C4. I have a couple of locations in mind.
Jaz also makes a 1 gal tank that is more compact.

How are ya slalom? I havent seen you in a while mate but ive been abit busy of late and havent been on here.

Why do you want such a small fuel tank? I have a couple of thoughts as to why you might, but im interested to know your reason mate.

Most of the smaller cells I've seen with internal pumps are custom in that they use a standard fill plate that's modified for the internal pump. Some are fairly simple mods using the 6 X 4 fill plate that has a 2 1/4 in. filler cap with 2 AN fittings in the plate (pressure & return). The fill plates I've seen have 1 inch or so of metal tubing below the plate (part of the 2 1/4 fill opening). The fuel pump is housed in a aluminum tube that is attached to the fill plate with a short rubber hose. The tube has cutouts at the bottom to allow more fuel to get to the pump. The pump wiring runs up thru the tube, thru a grommet in the tube and then thru a hole in the filler plate (with a grommet that has the wires epoxied to pervent leakage).
The aluminum tube and pump sit about a 1/4 inch above the bottom of the cell.
I don't think you're going to find what you need as a standard item. The modification's not that hard to do if you can get the right fill plate and find the tubing.
The pumps I've used are the ones from Wabro.

Thank you for the background & suggestions.

I have an L98-based in-tank assembly to adapt or serve as a
model for a purpose-built unit, but the fabrication aspect
confronts me with yet another time/money sink.

The path of least resistance appears to be to settle for
the external pump.

Settling is right.

Is there such a thing as an external pump that won't burn itself out?

I don't think there's a single OEM that's used one, at least not by itself.

It'll also be very noisy, probably not a concern for you though...

Now, one pump that someone suggested to me for this type of application... is a mechanical piston type pump, where low suction pressure shouldn't phase it. Everything else is rotary-vane.

Also I think an Airtex E8248 is probably the beefiest oem inline electric you can get.
