These are a real pain to find! For years I used the Trico Exact Fit, but they have changed the design on them and they hang up also.
Last set I put on my 89 came from the dealer #12363800 for approx 20 bucks. Worked good. But these are discontinued now!!
Not sure if the part number will cross over, haven't tried yet.

Try #12533416 GM parts.

Joel

I see the Delco # 8-2202 / 12533416 should fit.

The PIAA blades I bought several years ago work fine, but I don't have the details on them.

Brian

Had the same type issue on my 86 plus had them come off when in use a couple of times. Tried 2 or 3 different brands then tried a set from NAPA (store labeled). Fit perfect and worked fine. I did do one thing added though, I put a small wire wrap around the arm and through the blade frame to insure it wouldn't come off like the others did, but I really don't think it was needed but reassuring to know they're on till I take them off.

I think I still have the package if you need the number, but just looked them up online.

The last set I put on were Trico 201. They clear fine on the 89.

I don't have that problem... but, if you use any of the old school thin blades, without the big black thingy on them, you should be ok.

If you look at the blade post mount there are two different sized holes. You just have to remove the mount and flip it around.
