I'm embarking on a process of hand cleaning the engine compartment of the 1985. It's going to take several days, so I'll be keeping Lauren inside the garage when I do it. I don't want to trash the floor, so I'm going to put something disposable underneath the car. I'm thinking of getting this: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0 ... d=AQRN6I3FA037N&psc=1 Thoughts, comments, suggestions, cautions? |

I'm with Tommy, I think you would be happy you put some plastic down first. The Canvas will absorb stuff, but it might still soak through and stain the concrete. With the plastic under that will stop any staining liquids from reaching the floor.

Methinks the plastic alone could get you slip slidin away. |

I will confirm what as already said. Canvas drop cloths are permeable and whatever drips down can sleep through.
I would use a tarp and throw some old junk towels on top to absorb anything. |
