So sorry to hear of the family situation there Teeb... I'm worried the stress of all this may have taken a toll... hope they work it out.....
another perfect day here in the corn capital of America... supposed to have the worker guys show up to help with the carport...so far they are a no show... wait the dog is barking..maybe they are showing up.... Tommy what news on Sonny Boy? Stay focused Guru's |

I'm really torn about Sonny-boy. If he's dead somewhere there is nothing I can do bout it. If he's alive and on the streets there is nothing I can do about it. Seeing that he is an adult and makes his own decisions regardless of how we feel about them, I'm going to hold off for a couple of more days before I sound the alarm. He could be hanging with an unknown friend for all we know. We are supposed to have dinner with our stepson and his wife where I can can ask a few more important questions. Unfortunately Sonny lives in his own dream world. The recent medicare/snap program cuts may have affected him. If he is flat broke he might have been motivated to do something. Of course he does not look to us for consult. He's an extremely private person with a very serious concern over government oversight whereas Sue and I are pretty much an open book and know that big brother is always watching. Watch as they may we've got nothing to hide. I'll let you know if there is a break in the case. |

Hey guys, Beautiful day here, low 80s and light breezes. Gave me the opportunity to put the metal roofing on. Bought 10' pieces but needed to cut them off at 9'6",so took half of them at a time, evened them up, clamped them down and cut 7 pieces at once using my 4 1/2" grinder with a cutting wheel on it...worked well. marked and pre-drilled the holes for the screws. I then figured a way out to put the metal up by myself and get it aligned properly...by noon I had the north side on and screwed down.
Not sure about what all is going on with GS GD-in law. Say a prayer if you are so inclined for a favorable outcome... whatever that might be. Rosie caught me finishing off the ridge cap   |
