SEMI-SUNNY, CALM, 60 DEGREES GOING FOR 80. THAT'S A TEMPERATURE RANGE I COULD LIVE WITH ALL YEAR!

THE ARKIES ARE GONE BUT NOT THE BRISKET. BACK STORY: WHILE DEFROSTING THE FREEZER DW DISCOVERED A LARGE BRISKET THAT HAD BEEN LURKING IN THE BOTTOM FOR YEARS, PROBABLY BECAUSE IT WAS TOO BIG TO SERVE. THE PREHISTORIC CUT COOKED UP VERY NICELY AND TASTES GOOD. EVEN THE BOYS COULDN'T EAT IT ALL.

GOT THE DOGHOUSE WINTERIZED. THE ARKIES ARE URBAN CHILDREN. #6 GRANDSON, WHO IS BIG ENOUGH TO HUNT BEAR WITH A WILLOW SWITCH, WAS TOTALLY PERPLEXED AS TO HOW TO HANDLE A BALE OF STRAW :-O

THEY ARE FORECASTING RAIN ALL NEXT WEEK; MAKES ME WONDER IF IT'S WORTH IT TO SWITCH CARS TOMORROW.

KEEP ON KEEPING ON, GURUS.

Morning guys.... Missed yesterday. Rosie was feeling stopped up and coughing, so she took a Covid test...POSIIVE...surprise, surprise. That meant I was kept a bit busier with the GGD. Washed the pickup in prep for todays trip north to return GGD to her momma. Grandma (#2) watched GGD for a while late afternoon, so I could go to church. While I was gone she gave GGD a Covid test (she was fussy, runny nose and coughing a little) she is positive as well.

The night went pretty well, she was up for while, but really doesn't seem to be all that sick. (fingers crossed emoji).

Gris, the style is, kind of, Mission, kind of, Shaker. Simple clean lines. I like those simple lines.

Also dog sitting neighbors two dogs while they travel north to Nebraska and east to Wichita to see their kids over the weekend. GGD loves the dogs when we go down there. She wants to play with them. I think she is missing her pup.

Well, need to start getting things together for our two hour trip north.....

Health mojo sent for Rosie. Hope she's feels better soon. I wish Covid would go find some cold dark bat cave to go hide in.

U of M and Clemson game had a nail biter ending last night. Watched it on the big screen at Hard Rock Hollywood last night. Something for the fans in SoFlo to cheer about after the coaches threw the last two games by making critical errors. Go Dolphins. I'm watching football a little more this year after I walked away from the kneelers a few years back.
