Good Morning CGs!

Should be a nice sunny day today. I'll sleep through most of it. I have to teach TKD class this morning from 9-12 and then back home and in bed.

Drove the Corvette for the first time this season yesterday. What a great feeling.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matt, what did you have to remove to get the radio installed in the dash like that?

On the C5 convertible the first thing you remove is the waterfall. Then the arm rest, then the traction control switch cover, then the center console, then the radio bezel. They all fit together like a puzzle. I also took off the knee bolster and the under dash covers to get to the wiring. It's a little daunting at first but I've had it apart at least 8-10 times now so I knock it out pretty quick.

You also need to cut out the support brackets inside the dash and use an aftermarket radio bezel to fit the new double din.

THE JONAH CAR STILL IN THE SHOP, MATT, IT WILL TAKE A WHILE TO FIND AND VERIFY THE FIX.

ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL MORNING IN THE NATIONS, 60 ON THE FRONT PORCH, A BREEZY 82 AFTER NOON. SPRING LIKE---I CAN COPE :-)

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA, BUT PAYING BILLS AND A RUN OVER TO MUSKOGEE. TAXES PAID, I HAVE ONE ARM AND ONE LEG REMAINING.

THE NATIONAL SOCIALISTS ARE BUSY MAKING LIGHTBULBS MORE EXPENSIVE PURSUANT TO THE GLOBAL WARMING SCAM AND IN DENVER THEY ARE CUTTING BACK ON FIRE AND POLICE DEPARTMENTS TO SPEND MORE MONEY ON ILLEGAL ALIENS a.k.a APPRENTICE DEMOCRATS.

AIN'T IT GREAT?

...no kidding.... I get confused with 2 wires.... much less a spaghetti of wires..... not for the meek....

it is a beautiful warm spring morning and the yard work calls out to us.... going out on a limb and take off the snow blower and hook up the mower on the JD mini tractor.... mow the front yard with the yard mower then fertilize everything....trying not to do a lot of mulching this year.... we hope to get 2 years out of what we did last year.... it takes a bunch...

beats shoveling snow Guru's

I'm living a bad dream right now. The stars are not aligned and it's been wreaking havoc. Must have had something to do with the eclipse. On Thursday the 928 was parked in front of the nursery with it's for sale signs. On the cameras at 13:13 the 928 started on it's own and drove into the street colliding with a box truck knocking out it's drive shaft and shifting it's rear end. The 928 is totaled. The driver said the car pulled out into him. We were all like "Really?". When we went back and looked at the cameras sure as $#!+ the 928 pulled out and smashed into him. No key. No driver. Just strted and "BAM!". The internet says it could have been a rare solonoid malfuntion. There can be no other reason unless a lizard jumped the cables with it's body. We are just dumbfounded. Dumfounded and out of $10,000 plus we are reponsible for damages. The car was insured for $100,000 liability,. State Farm wants a copy of the vid. Plain as day it started on it's own. Nobody around the car. A buyer showed up with an envelope of cash on Friday for the purchase. Multiple 's right now. I asked the news reported to wait till after I come back from vacation to meet for a story on my son. Still missing. I'm experiencing some anxiety and a touch of depression right now but I am aware and combatting it as this is not my first around with with The vaction is much needed. I need a total disconnect. Oh well. Onward. Take one step forward. Hopefully not two steps back
