HOWDY!

The AT&T website for repairs is a clusterf@(%. Phone support is an abomination when calling. 1 1/2 hour wait for a return call and it dropped. 30 minute wait for a return call and it dropped. Finally a 1 minute wait and the call went through to the Phillipine call center. Alexander Graham Bell is rolling in his grave. They are trying to get me to switch to digital phone service instead of my traditional landline. They are doing all these service upgrades that are creating a service downgrade for me. Once you switch you can't go back. I am resistant to change. The world is a pain in the ass with all the constant changes. Profits for the corporations and a shit sandwich for the consumer. All I can say is rigginfriggin sassafrassin shidilibop.

Oh my! never had that knock on the door..... better stay with the landline Tommy....we did not and now are totally dependent on cell phones..... we stayed with it a long time but the long distance charges for access were high and it was costing us over $100 bucks a month and never used it.... so the phone book here in town is now like a pamphlet.....

Ordered the tranny oil for the C5 on Wednesday and it was here on Thursday from Amazon.... how do they do that? Went with AC Delco Dexron III-H.... do not know what the H is but it has to be good right? It says right on the Tranny that is what to use on a big orange sticker.... if you want confusion try asking a forum what to use in a T56 manual transmission.... you will get every answer imaginable and then the next post will say that product ruined their tranny.... so go with what GM recommends and that will work....

Hey guys, another chilly morning but warming up a bit, 50 now at 1pm.

Yea, we NEVER get those kinds of t or ters...wouldn't mind it if we did.

Been working in the shop, deep cleaning. Need to do that occasionally. Preparing for the onslaught tonight.

I've not had a landline in decades, never missed it. I do recall when I was on the fence I asked my company about a cheap base rate for necessary only or emergency only or something like that and was flatly told no. Then when I cancelled, magically they all of a sudden had a plan for that for like $5/mo.
When I had Oneta in the nursing home, fumbling with a cell phone was hard for her, but I had one for her then I got a box from ATT about the size of an answering machine, that you plug a wireless home-style phone into. It works off your cell service. Cell signal to the box thing, then it runs it through to the "normal" phone. She could use that easily so that was our go to. If you have ATT Tommy, not sure if that box is free or not, but if it isn't, I have one here I can send you. It was sent to me for her about the time she passed so it was never used, although it's a couple years old should still work fine. You do get an extra line or something through ATT for it but for my plan it was only around $10/mo.
Sun is finally out here, temps headed to 65. Trying to talk myself into heading to town to pick up a couple things then go to gym for some walking and light dumbbell work. Still sleepy though. Happy Halloween
