The weather is fluctuating quite a bit here. It's warmed up from the minus 12 wind chill we had. Upper 30s right now which feels like a heat wave. It rained quite a bit overnight which helped remove the vast majority of the snow that we got last week. No complaints here. But it's wreaking havoc on my sinuses.

Marcus - you are going to run into more problems with the alternator for the C5. The C5 has about seven different alternator part numbers depending on the year and manual vs auto. There are different internal components depending on the year. And if you use the wrong one it will give you a voltage or charging error on the dashboard. The problem is that the parts stores sell them all as 97 through 04 with no distinction between them.

Yes that is what I am finding out Matt.... prices from $260 up to $800 dollars at some places. I went to Rock Auto and found the one I felt was the right one which is 110 amps but what they sent was junk. I have another one coming.. I wished now I had kept the original one, it just looked bad. I did get a Service Charging system error on the DIC..... Chevy of course does not make them anymore.

What I bought was a re built Delco unit. Hopefully the new one will be ok.... it cost $200 which I felt was fair. $400 dollars or more for an alternator is crazy talk..

Yes, I've been busy. The judge reversed the order on the American Bulldog that injured two of my dogs and killed Snoopy. My neighbor can bring his dog back to his house. The judge did note that any further serious events with their dog would result in their dog being euthanized. Sue was not happy. She wants a 6 ft wooden fence placed inside the existing chain link fence all the way to the ground so out dogs won't interact at all with my neighbors 3 dogs. 6 feet high so we don't have to look at the motherf@(%ers. His house is in foreclosure now. Hope the bank can get them out quickly. My understanding is they paid $750k and their is a 600k mortgage. Prices are on the slide in many parts of Florida right now. 7 months ago he mentioned they were going to move to the Carolinas. Just go already. There is a lot more going on but that's enough of me for one day.
