Top o'the moanin to ya.

Can't believe how the years are just flying by. I looked under the hood of my Suburban and saw the the battery was dated 11/22 Seems like I just put that battery in the last year or two. No matter. I still can only live one day at a time. Housework yesterday. I have to try and find closing papers for the nursery properties. The potential buyer wants to know if we have surveys. Unfortunately for me I save too much peperwork so I have to go through the mountain to find the mole hill. I'll find it. Maybe throw out some outdated stuff along the way. Then I'll play out in the yard. Couple of days worth out there for sure. Lots going on in the world but I'm doing my best to tune it out. Behind my fences there is peace and prosperity. Keep the guns loaded gurus.

yesterday top down weather but not today... with wind chill feels like 39... I enjoyed the topless ride though.... summer late night with the top down and a million stars.... the rumble of the small block making the background music... can't wait....

not top down weather for me, although it was supposed to be. Not today either. Rained during the night and is off and on, did yesterday. Weather man lied. I was in my own office yesterday all afternoon purging. I've not cleaned or did anything in there for at least two years. Oneta passed, sold her house after, then dog died, then we've had surgeries, I had cancer, you name it. Depression creeps up on you. I've just avoided that room all this time, but - I had a "squirrel" moment yesterday and was in there after something, next thing I know I'm deep cleaning and purging. Found 9 pairs of Arrons jeans I had planned to mend, they were really more than I wanted to mess with so found a lady to pick them up or crafting, that was a pile gone. I threw out two bags of crap including some old computer cables I will never need, old phone boxes, an old ipad case I have no idea what it fits, etc. Half the contents of one lower cabinet went in the trash too. Felt nice. I need to do the entire house, garage, shop and attic. It will be slow but it will eventually happen. I want to pare down to minimums but still keep some stuff I love.

Dumped a ton of magazines today that I kept in case somebody wanted them LOL. They're outa here. Found one of the two files I was looking for. The search continues.

I have a ton of old magazines also... Hot Rods, Corvette mags.... I finally take off the covers where my address and name is usually and take them to the Sheriff's dept for the convicts to read... they won't take them if they are stapled because the guests try to swallow those and kill themselves.... hey hey... it's the real sick world out there ya know....

I love old magazines, I have a handful of hotrod ones, Vette, and am now the owner of a shitton of 1968-80s Playboys. Someone got the good ones of course but I did find a few goodies. I did get the Donald Trump one and Bo Derek. Some of those go for good money, but I like to just have them. Am in search of Pam Anderson, Farrah and a few others.
