Just another Friday here. James got his new Stereo yesterday, a Kenwood Excelon 809. Sounds better than the old Pioneer and my iPhone hooks up to it automatically once the head unit boots up. James is happy and so am I. A mere $813.

Worked most of the day helping Grandma Rosie clean and repair GS#1 apartment he is moving out of. Me doing all the touchup of woodwork and mechanical stuff, Rosie vacuuming and using the "Rug Doctor". She'll vacuum a room and have to empty the bin two, sometimes three times because of the dog hair. Then when she goes over it with the 'doctor' the amount of hair is still a lot. But after two days of cleaning I think we are done. He's just got stuff that needs to be removed, donated or thrown out, but the big part of our job is complete.

As we were coming home yesterday, GS#1 calls me and asked if I could swap out an alternator on his GFs Enclave. She just bought it two weeks ago and it quit already. The biggest issue is she bought it in Lincoln Nebraska, so taking it back there to have it fixed, and then they will only cover 10%, and besides that, I don't think it would make it back there on a single battery charge. They just called me, they are bringing it over for me to remove the alt today and the new one will be here in the morning for me to install. Not super easy to do, but after watching youtube vids I'm pretty sure I can do it.

Smoky outside, must have a wildfire somewhere close. Supposed to be breezy and warm today.

Beautiful and sunny here, I've been outside gathering rays. Fell asleep in the lounger. Headed to Walmart in a bit, I need some things and supposed to meet a dude there to sell an ipad to. Boxing last two nights was intense, we did conditioning work and I'm worn out, so draggy today. Would've been a good day to work in the yard but that surprise nap kinda messed that up. Plus I was up late last night as I decided at 9pm I was gonna make my ribeye roast. I pulled it out at 12 and omg I've never made something that good in all my life. Stood at the stove and had a few bites then packed it up and got in bed around 1.
Tee, are you referring to a stereo for the Vette or? I would like to get something for the Vette at some point.

Yes, Letty James is the Corvette. As in it is a 2'007' so I named him James, as in James Bond 007....
