Went outside and did a quick job out back and I thought to myself this might be a lucky day since it went so well. Yestrday i installed one of those standalone air conditionners. It's supposed to cool up to 750 sq ft. I had a 5000 BTU widow unit back there that couldn't keep up in the office/shed temperatures. To my surprise the 10300 BTU unit isn't doing much better. It's dehumidifying well but the temp is around 80* in the room. 90* + outside. I expected better. Worked on the timer light switch by the front door. The foront outdoor lights were not coming on with the timer. Got a new timer and it didn't work. Hooked up an off/on swittch and it didn't work. There are 3 lightbulbs in each unit. I swapped out two in each and whuda-ya-know. The lights worked with the on off switch. I put the new timer back in and the lights wouldn't come on. I put the old timer back in and it was working manually. Let's see how it goes with the timer when it gets dark. What I thought would be a half hour job turned into several hours. Well, I'm heading back to the office/shed to do some caulking. I have a fountain pump to sweap out too. Dinner out tonight at 6:00PM. I think the pump is gonna get pushed back. One thing at a time gurus. Get er done.

Ain't that how it usually goes? A five minute operation turns into a half day because of some small issue. I got the pharmacy guy's wrap sent yesterday before I left and then saw he'd dropped off the car so they have something to do for the next couple days. By the time I get back in there Tuesday, the cycle starts over. Supposed to be raining here any minute but the sun is out and it's beyond humid. I made food for Arron and me for lunch but it appears he made a stop at Sam's for something instead. I saw a giant cootie inflatable for the pool, would take up the whole pool and he was gonna get me that I guess, but they didn't have it. I told him we'd go look later, wasn't necessary so now I guess he won't have time to come home for lunch. Boy don't listen very well but it's the thought that counts. I think he's trying to find me something short notice for my bday tomorrow. I mean it only happens the same time every year lol.
