I was reading threads in here to get caught up, then went back to main page and those were gone so sorry if this is a dupe.
We finally got some rain last night, much needed and it saved me from watering plants in the dark in the skeeters. Of course, more rain brings more skeeters. Been MIA, Arron's back in the hospital, in an "observation area" where it's noisy AF, he's not slept in 36 hours and I unloaded on some folks last night. Either send him home or to a room, he's just had 3 brain radiation treatments, on a med for seizure protection, had a chemo infusion, dealing with oral thrush from antibiotic plus mono combined with same antibiotic which led to extremely high fever and body wide painful rash. Guessing he picked up the mono in the ER a month ago. Sleep is non-negotiable at this point. Nurses are loud and cackling, slamming cabinet doors, dude next to him apparently can't hear and he's booming around, on the phone24/7 with it on loudspeaker, tv on loud af. After our fit last night, lights were dimmed, headphones were passed out and "quiet hours" were put in place and the air conditioning was turned back on. Apparently some nurse had the head on because "they" liked it. Well, the patients don't and you don't matter. I hope he slept. I took him my adhd earplugs also, maybe he got some rest. Will find out later and fingers crossed I can get him home and let home health handle him while I work.

BACK ON LINE?

Sues white blood cell count is through the roof. She sees a new cancer doc on Friday. Cruise was OK. Food was pretty good. As white folks we were once again in the minority. Gambling was up and down. More down in the end. A real shocker, aye? Catching up on bills and paperwork. Go see my primary doc tomorrow. BIL's mother is lying in bed and is brain dead and the elder sibling that has power of attorney is dragging on removing the ventilator. No plan for her demise when it does happen. I'm sure none of them has a pot to piss in. Guessing it will have to be cremation. And the wheel in the sky keeps on turning.

Very sorry to hear about Sue, I hope they can sort her out and she can be pestering you for chores soon. I'm sorry about your BIL's mom too, that has to be rough. As a person who had POA over another, I always chose to do what she asked me to do whether it was a decision I'd have made or not. Even in her last moments, one simple procedure would've helped her live a while longer and she, being in her right mind, refused. Doc called me aside to confirm and told me I could overrule her. I told him no, that is her decision and I will make sure she has her say. He told me, as a physician, that I made the right choice and he knew it was a hard one. Didn't make me feel any better but I respected her wishes.

tough going out there for some of you folks.... all I can do is pray for you all.... tried to get back on here several times but it was a no go.... where has Matt been lately... he usually chips in once a week or so....
