I am trying to find a source for a set of security bolts for the 89 stock wheel hubs. Any ideas.
Ecklers, Corvette america, etc, don't have them. Any ideas? Had to drill one, key became worn. |

Time for the segment we call "Little Known Corvette Facts".
These locks were manufactured by McGard. The original owner would have gotten one of these:  And a registration card something like one of these:  The registration card is obviously the important part as the Instructions are pretty self explanitory. I'm pretty sure you can still order the Keys and Locks from McGard. I suspect you don't have the registration so I guess you'll have to contact McGard and either buy a new set of 4 locks with key or send them a good key to get a replacement. Try this link. |

Tried to get a new set and was told that they no longer have them. Either my key is stripped or a bolt is. Had to drill and use easy out.
If you find out something diff. please let me know. I am using allen head bolts. I am the second owner and have not found the code paper work. |

I'm surprised an aftermarket company hasn't started making these yet. Hopefully it will be soon as more people start restoring the C4s.
