Most of you regulars here know what Jsup has been doing with his car. I was fortunate enough to get a great deal from him for his deep trans pan, dust cover, new in the box trans cooler and his torque converter.

Everything except the torque converter arrived yesterday. They're all in great shape and I'm happy as heck.

The torque converter is back at the manufacturer right now getting rebuilt and reflashed.

My thanks to PeteK for his invaluable help with the converter.

If anybody should have any dealings with them down the road, you should have no qualms about it.

My thanks again to both.

Thanks Skid, I like to make sure if anyone buys something from me they are happy. Hey that cover looks good powder coated doesn't it. It will stay cleaner, that's for sure.

And thanks Pete for working with us to make sure Skids keeps his warranty. This is a deal which worked for evreyone all the way around.

My wife said "Why do you have to do the trans now, can't it wait till spring"? My excuse was skids purchased the parts. So all's happy but the wife, maybe I can change that later......

Happy to help.
I do want to clarify 1 thing though. As I mentioned in my pm, the warrantee is granted to the origional purchaser.
Although I am confident in the quality, there is no warrantee expressed or implied once sold. As a courtesy, I had the converter reflashed for the second purchaser.

Again, I am confident that Rex is receiving a 1st quality product, that is hand built with care, but there is no warrantee with it.

Pete certainly knows his trans and stalls, and is a first class guy.

I understand the warranty situation and I'm confident that the quality of the product should be fine.

And Pete, my offer to pick up the shipping charges still stands.

Thanks again.

Because payment for shipping was not included when the converter was returned to the builder, I reached in my pocket for that also.

Sorry about the shipping, my fault. Pete did tell me to throw some cash in the box. I just forgot. Let me know how much Pete, I'll make it right.

Rex,
I appreciate that.
I could not accept any payment, as we had no prior arrangement. No worries.

Awesome, now I just have to get some vinyl made up that says "turbo encabulator by PeteK" and I'll terrify all the vtecs on the main drag strip.
