My sister works for Honda Cars Of Bradenton. She gives me a call and tells me there's a sweet looking 94 Vert they took in on trade. So I check it out on the web. The next thing I know I'm looking at newer ZR1s, ZO6s then I'm over to the classifieds at the Grand Sport Registry. I start thinking of selling my 90 and buying something else. I wouldn't sell my 91 because it's an ass kicking sleeper. My wife just said if we can get the 94 for xxxxx dollars do you want it. Hell I wasn't even looking for a car. Don't you just hate when that happens? .........

I'm tempted when cars are less than 10k and in great shape. I can handle up to 20k for a dream car and then up to 30k on a stretch for something I'd never be able to get again.

You don't give up the good stuff, when you know what you got. NO MATTER how good the other deal is - you DON'T know what it is.

Even if you can get outrageous cash for what you got, you have to get something ELSE, and again, you don't know what you got.

You give up your mate for a 'hot-chick Friday' chick, and you're gonna' have LOTS of fun. For a week.

I hate when the itch strikes. So far, my LT4 has scratched it pretty good. I was looking over a friend's C6 on New Year's Eve, and thought it would be nice to have, but am still able to just walk away.

That pretty much describes how we wound up with the C6...

It started with a small compact car, then a full sized something or other, next shes got me looking at 01 ZO6's and somehow the C6 arrived in the driveway.

Go for it, Tommy, but move up to a C5 or C6. Then you'll have the 91 still and a newer car to scratch that itch.

Matthew

PS - you only live once, why not enjoy it. Isn't that what retirement is for, to enjoy life????

Talked to my sis tonight. She told me at 10:00 AM. The car was sold at 3:00 PM. They were asking $14,991. (not my price). I'll find out what it went for Monday. At 15k, a few thousand more and your in a 98.
