I started the tear down for replacing the bearings and ujoints and ran into a problem. I have a 1992 coupe. I don't have a socket the right size for the spindle nut. 1 1/4" is too small and 1 1/2" is too big. I will be going to the auto parts place tomorrow to get the spindle washers and will pick up a socket when I am there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dave.

Also, when you retighten the spindle nut, do so to 200 ft-lbs. It's a bitch... I know...

You will also need to get a couple extra T-55 torx sockets. I recommend this because those suckers can be uber-tight... and it's not uncommon to break a socket or two.

It might help if you spray the outside of those bolts with a PB Blaster type of penetrating oil.

Yup, 36mm. Crack it loose before you remove the ebrake cable. The posi alone won't keep it from spinning.
