Because for too many years GM has simply rebadged nearly identical cars with no differences. Instead of maintaining multiple brands they should have combined earlier. My opinion.

Just because it has been around for a long time, does not make it good. Oldsmobile was around for 107 years.

That truely is nuts.

Pretty much the only different was the grill

Each division with it's own V8 engine was great in the 60's, but it go to be too much.

Though I never looked at a Firebird the same, when they had a Chevy engine in them...
