I'm on day 19 without a cigarette, as some of you may know, thanks to my discovery of the electronic cigarette (AKA "personal vaporizer") a few weeks back. It's been easier than I ever would have imagined, and I wasn't even intending to quit (after 40+ years). Within 3 days of buying mine, I was done with cigarettes, and this is a pretty common, even among long-time smokers. If you're interested, here is a wealth of information:

I wonder if they have one with THC as the active ingredient instead of nicotine.It would be kind of a friend with benefits. Keep up the good work Brad. My sister tries to get me to quit by telling me, think of a cigarette as an acid that is eating away at your body. Every time you smoke you take in more acid and it eats away at your lungs. You can't live if you can't breathe. She has a point.

I never had any significant health problems/symptoms from smoking until this year. I noticed that I was starting to cough quite a bit, especially in the morning, and when I'd lay down to go to bed, I'd have quite a bit of congestion. I suspect this may be related to the carpet glue that the gubbermint here mandated as an ingredient to make cigs fire-safe back in January - a lot of folks have had problems. Anyway, that all went away within a few days.

I'm going to start dialing back the nicotine level, and maybe even try vaping some zero-nicotine juice part of the day. If real cigs had tasted this good, I'd probably have smoked 6 packs a day ;-)
