| SpectatorRacing | Anyone know where to get tire shelving or racks? | ||

I need some racks to hold tires in the garage. I had an industrial supply catalog with nice ones, but I can't remember which company it was.
An internet search for "tire rack" brings up hundreds of links to the Tirerack, which does not actually have tire racks. At least not higer capacity ones like I want. A search for "tire shelf" brings up hundreds of articles about tire shelf life. Good information, but doesn't help me store anything... A little help, please? |

Only $350  For that money, I could build 6 or 7 of them. You don't even need a welder, just bolt them together. Use the PitPal design. You could easily make them foldable. |

Half a dozen 2x4s and a can of paint will do it for about $30
|

I used treated lumber 2x6 x 10' 1/2 lag bolts and 45 degree braces. Solid wall backer and used 3/8" lags and an impact gun to secure to wall. Holds 8 tires and wheels.

I don't have many tires laying around, so I have no shelving.
I just did a search for "tire storage shelf" several came up. I just grabbed the first one. |
