I replaced my older garage computer with a newer faster unit, and a flat screen monitor to replace the old CRT chunk.

The computer is a 2.8 Gig machine with 2 Gig of RAM. Really all I needed. I have a wireless adapter so it's connected to the network. It's also wirelessly connected to the printer inside, same as my desktop and laptop, and I can file share between this computer and all the PCs in the house. Makes looking up something very easy.

I found someone interested in the machine I had in the garage and after they buy it the new setup will only have cost me $5.

I need to get a track ball mouse with a scroll wheel though since those are made now and it would be nice to have.

Look's like a nice mouse you have now. I've never used one like that but they've always intrigued me.

They are nothing really that special but they are perfect for a computer where you don't have the most room for a mouse or the best surface. Plus removing the red ball is very easy for cleaning and that also makes it better than a movable mouse.

The downside is scrolling. If you use a scroll mouse then you'll feel lost when you want to scroll a page up or down. I found out they make a new version that has a scroll wheel, and I plan to upgrade because scrolling has become very needed with today's online bulletins and forums.

That would make it hard for me. I'd be lost with out my scroll wheel. Thanks for the insight

Good deal with only having $5 into your system btw.

Sweet! I just ordered a little Asus netbook to haul around - I imagine it will get some garage duty as well.

Good deal, Matt. But I couldn't be without the scroll function on my mouse.
