its like GM doesn't even try here anymore.

Gee... that would be cool to see... but no, we get stuck with dubious dealers and crappy TV ads.

That is actually an advertisement for the CTS-V series....which is a great car that I think a lot of people do not know about. (I'm actually shopping for a used one)

From 2004-2007 they came as standard with the LS6 400 HP motor (Same motor as in the C5 Z06), and then, I think, but not sure it came with a 485 HP V8 in 2008-2009.... and in 2010, I believe they now have a motor that is 558 HP supercharged motor.

I drove in a 2004 earlier in the week..... very tight vehicle, they handle like a Corvette, yet smooth and quiet and the LS6 motor did a great job of moving the mass..... I think I read where the 2004-2007's have run as fast as high 12's show-room stock with most in the low 13's somewhere..... pretty cool for a 4 door luxury vehicle.

Commercial was a bit goofy.... but kinda cool at the same time. Some risky driving....

No power bump that I am aware of. They went straight from the 400hp to the supercharged 558hp.

Yeah, what I have discovered is that in 2004-2006 I believe they used the LS6 5.7 liter motor.... then went to the LS2 6.0 liter motor for a couple of years, then into the Supercharged 6.2 liter motor in 2009(basically the ZR-1 motor scaled back a bit I guess)
