A friend of mine has a pair of Z06 wheels from his 02 Z06 that he is not using this weekend with good DRs mounted. They are 18" rims. Will they be too tall for my car?

No.

But what a shame to mount drag radials on Z06 wheels...

No they won't be too tall for your car. Tire diameter dictates that, not wheel diameter.

Yes they will fit.

OK guys .... what is it? Yes No, errr Maybe?

I thought they should work as I have seen lots of C4s with z06 wheels, but what do I know, I'm not well versed in C5 wheel-ology.

They will fit fine. I ran the same set up with BFG drag radials for a while, no problem at all. Now you just have to know how to use them (burnouts in the water, tire pressures, etc.). You should have a blast this weekend, wish I was there.

My rims and tires are off of a '02, and they fit fine (275/40/18). I have even thought of lowering the car. I don't know if the spacing is different.

You asked if they'd be too tall for your car. Spectator said no. There's no disagreement here!
