I have a cockroach farm in my wood shop at school. They can't kill the little fu**&^.The "bug guy" says he will use stronger chemicals when the kids are not around. They hide deep in the walls. They put out this sticky, tape that traps them on the tape. Cool! Bunch of little legs but no body.
