Not a tech post but I wanted to share it and I couldn't find a ZR-1 section. Feel free to move it if need be.

My buddy Greg@ Anti-Venom called me today, he knows to call me when there is a cool C-4 there, and told me there was an original 12,000 mile ZR-1 there.
I had just finished eating lunch so I dropped everything and headed over.

Man this thing was cool. The engine could use some detailing but this thing is bone stock original all except the battery. Even the tires are original. The weatherstripping was so new it was hard to close the hatch after I took that picture.

It was really cool and a shame at the same time, I hate to see cool cars just sit.

I took the pics on my phone as this was spur of the moment so they aren't the best but it still shows the car off nicely.

Check out the stickers on the rim warning about the tire pressure sensors.

that is sweet! Original tires? That's rather scary!!! But the car is seriously clean.

I agree, it is a waste to let a great car like that just sit.

It's body is in great shape. Looks sweet. Hopefully those miles were put on 500 miles per year.

Based on looking at the pic it is having fuel issues. Dead pumps and possible fubar'd injectors.

12,000 miles is no longer really special.

How about 179 miles?

thats no biggie sooner or later even the 179 mile car will need new injectors .plus low mile cars usually have airconditioning problems from lack of use . but most people know of the issue items that might need atten on low mile cars no matter how well they are stored
