When you go to somebody's profile, and click on "find all posts by Foo" it just takes you to a blank search page.
Most other forums clicking on that returns a list of posts. Some it takes you to the search page but at least fills in the Foo to search for... |

I see what you are saying. It simply goes to a page that asks for more info about what you are looking for. I don't know how possible it will be to change it to the way you are asking, but we will put it on the list of things to look into.

brut, we would need to make a dynamic link that pulls their name from they're profile. I'm not up to snuff on how to do that, but the result will look like below. Obviously it could be manually entered, but I'm not volunteering to do that!
http://wwwc4guru.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=search&search_author=bogus Clickable: http://www.c4guru.com/modules.php?nam ... h&search_author=bogus I noticed the profiles are located by user #, where the search goes by user name. So when you're on the profile view, the webpage has no idea what username it is. Inputting user # into the search function doesn't do anything. |

ahhh..nice going CC! I will have to research it out to figure out how to automatically put the members name in there.
I am compiling a list of "to-do" things and this will be one of them. Great going! |

Although not real user friendly (yet), from the search area there is a Search by Author feature:
Search for Author: Use * as a wildcard for partial matches If you know the user's exact user name, you can type it in and it works as desired. If you only know part of the name you can use the wildcard character, but then could get more results than you wanted. |

I'm sure any of the other search options could be put into a link as well, if you also want an instant click to "find this users threads" , etc.
